Description

As a member of Total Care Rx, the Business Analyst / Project Manager will be working closely with confidential information. Integrity and strong professional values are a must for this role.
Reporting into the Controller or CEO, the Business Analyst / Project Manager will work closely with senior members of the management team to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner.
The Business Analyst / Project Manager will help facilitate day-to-day activities of the reporting function, serving operations and finance, as well as manage special projects on an as-needed basis. This position will oversee managing the ongoing development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). The dashboard of metrics (created using Tableau) will undergo ongoing refinement to provide insight into various aspects of the business, and to support fact-based decision making.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Analysis or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in a health care related field. Three (3) years of work-related experience in data manipulation and analysis also required. Must have a working knowledge of accounting/financial concepts, and experience with databases and report writing. Strong background in data extraction and analysis, and data management
  • Prefer strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Effectively communicate results of financial analyses to all organizational levels
  • Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Power Point and Access
  • Proficient with database structures, as well as data manipulation and visualization software, including but not limited to SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau to name a few
  • This role will be an on-site/ in-office position.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Conducting monthly financial analytics to accurately measure net revenue shifts due to factors such as volume and rate changes, service mix shifts fluctuations, etc.
  • Develop process solutions through automation, standardization, and innovation.
  • Lead special projects, lending data expertise and actionable insights. Examples include operational, data warehouse, and third-party projects.
  • Develop exception reporting and conduct drill-down analysis to proactively identify specific variances.
  • Queries various databases and financial systems to gather, analyze, and report on data.
  • Assists with the development of the annual budget. Prepares reports and other relevant data for distribution to department managers.
