Responsibilities:
- To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude. To be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
- Provide customer service to the “Hassle Free Guarantee” standards and ensure customers are handled in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner.
- An excellent effective understanding of the point of sale system including the packaging of customer purchases.
- To ensure all areas of responsibility are kept neat and tidy.
- Prepare daily cash reconciliation’s and achieve accurate cash balances.
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining proper inventory control.
- Ensure that all claims are submitted in a professional and timely manner.
- To gain and maintain knowledge of the products and services offered in the “Professional Services Area”
- To perform housekeeping duties, including but not limited to cleaning and facing shelves as per merchandising standards.
- To operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- To be familiar with and adhere to all Southland Co-op policies and procedures.
- To merchandise product and build displays.
- To adhere to company loss prevention, security, and safety policies and procedures. Be alert to the unauthorized removal of merchandise and alert the supervisor of any occurrence.
