Responsibilities:

  1. To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude. To be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
  2. Provide customer service to the “Hassle Free Guarantee” standards and ensure customers are handled in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner.
  3. An excellent effective understanding of the point of sale system including the packaging of customer purchases.
  4. To ensure all areas of responsibility are kept neat and tidy.
  5. Prepare daily cash reconciliation’s and achieve accurate cash balances.
  6. Responsible for ordering and maintaining proper inventory control.
  7. Ensure that all claims are submitted in a professional and timely manner.
  8. To gain and maintain knowledge of the products and services offered in the “Professional Services Area”
  9. To perform housekeeping duties, including but not limited to cleaning and facing shelves as per merchandising standards.
  10. To operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  11. To be familiar with and adhere to all Southland Co-op policies and procedures.
  12. To merchandise product and build displays.
  13. To adhere to company loss prevention, security, and safety policies and procedures. Be alert to the unauthorized removal of merchandise and alert the supervisor of any occurrence.
