About The Role

The Pharmacy Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of a retail pharmacy by assisting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with various administrative and customer service tasks. This position ensures that prescriptions are accurately filled and processed, contributing to the safe and timely delivery of medications to customers. The Pharmacy Clerk acts as a key point of contact for customers, providing clear communication and assistance while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. By managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining organized records, the Pharmacy Clerk helps uphold the pharmacy’s compliance with regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of pharmacy terminology and prescription filling processes.

Proficiency in operating standard office equipment and computer systems.

Solid listening and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and pharmacy staff.

Ability to read and understand product labels and shelf tags accurately.

Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting.
