JOB SUMMARY

Delivery Driver Required to deliver prescriptions to our patients and support the needs of the business.
Experience of the Edinburgh area is essential. Knowledge of pharmacy deliveries is desirable.
We are currently looking for a Pharmacy Delivery Driver to cover our Edinburgh locations (Pennywell, Drylaw, Stockbridge, Easter Road, Mayfield, Oxgangs, Tranent, Armadale, Linlithgow), working five days a week Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (40 hours a week)
Reporting to the Pharmacist Manager.
Your overall responsibility will be to arrange and carry out the collection and delivery of prescriptions.
The role will also involve establishing and developing long term relationships with customers ensuring to always deliver courteous and effective customer service.
In this role you will be required to complete administrative records, and ensure that these records are adequately maintained.
The ideal candidate will have a full clean UK driving licence.
You will have to comply with company policy in respect to safe transport of goods and have due regard for the security of the vehicle at all times.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience of pharmacy and multi-drop deliveries
Clean driving license
