WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A FULL TIME, FIXED TERM POSITION FOR A PHARMACY DISPENSER AT OUR SITE IN THE MOUNT VERNON HOSPITAL, OUTPATIENT PHARMACY, NORTHWOOD. THIS IS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A CANDIDATE INTERESTED IN EXPANDING THEIR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IN AN OUTPATIENT HOSPITAL SETTING. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITHIN A COMMUNITY PHARMACY DISPENSARY BASED SETTING.

The working hours for this position is Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5.15pm.

• Supporting the technical aspects of the dispensary including the receipt and endorsing of prescriptions as well as the labelling, dispensing and assembly of medication.
• Counsel patients on the use of their medication where appropriate, tailoring the conversations to ensure patients are fully informed about their healthcare needs.
• Support the dispensary team in actively promoting efficient pharmacy operations and services
