SKILLS

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient counselling/advice
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for prescription processing
  As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and knowledge of pharmacy operations will contribute to the overall quality of patient care.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Nat 5 or above
• Completion of a NVQ2 or NVQ3 is preferred but not essential

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions
• Ensure proper labelling and packaging of medications
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Assist in the preparation of compounded medications
• Provide information and counselling to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
