We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented pharmacy dispenser to join our team at Derwent Valley Pharmacy. This is a part-time position requiring flexibility to work rotational weekend shifts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medication and pharmaceutical products to patients in accordance with prescription instructions
• Prepare prescriptions by counting, labelling, and compounding medications with precision
• Maintain comprehensive electronic patient records and process prescription orders accurately
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all prescription-filing procedures and pharmacy regulations
• Provide professional patient information and education, answering queries and offering evidence-based advice
• Conduct effective liaison with healthcare providers and patients to ensure seamless service delivery
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and place timely orders to maintain adequate stock levels
• Process patient transactions, including pricing medications and completing billing for over-the-counter products
• Support the smooth operation of the pharmacy through efficient administrative duties
