You would become part of a local community pharmacy team, working directly with patients and gaining valuable experience across the dispensary and pharmacy counter. We are looking for someone who wants to become a valued and reliable member to join our team and provide a good service to our patients.

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Dispenser / Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly community pharmacy team in Bolton.

If you have at least 1 year of pharmacy experience, enjoy helping patients and take pride in providing a friendly and professional service, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a permanent full-time or part- time position, with availability required Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays.

You will be part of the pharmacy team serving, dealing with patients and liaising with the pharmacy team. You will also be expected to give the best customer service and experience.

You must have good communication and organisational skills to take on this role and understand the importance of accuracy and confidentiality. Patient safety is an essential part of working in the pharmacy, as medication must be supplied safely to protect patient's health.

This job is not suitable for you if you are not available during the weekdays, mornings and afternoons or are only looking for summer holiday job.

Your duties will include:

• Assessing the needs of patients entering the pharmacy and providing the necessary care
• Serving patients and dealing with inquiries
• Dispense prescriptions and help pharmacist in day to day work in the pharmacy
• Receiving, checking and organizing pharmacy stock
• Providing advice to patients, regarding various medications

* Stock management

Minimum one year pharmacy experience is required.

The ideal candidate for the team would be someone who is a qualified dispenser. Moreover, you must be a reliable, punctual and hardworking member of the team.
