KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with the day to day running of the pharmacy.

- Ensure all prescriptions are printed, labelled and dispensed accurately and in a timely manner.

- Use the system to conduct dispensing duties under the supervision of the pharmacist manager.

- Order, receive, organise and maintain stock levels appropriately.

- Process repeat medication requests efficiently.

- Ensure the safe and appropriate storage of all medicines.

- To liaise with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care across primary and secondary care.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a busy community pharmacy and either completed or are working towards a GPhC recognised course in pharmacy services.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills to build a rapport with both colleagues and patients.

- Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

• - Enthusiastic, trustworthy and able to work on their own initiative as well as follow instructions.
