Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise & manage the functioning of the pharmacy and staff.
• Coordinate and plan work processes and schedules for staff
• Orient pharmacists regarding the use and composition of drugs
• Creating item masters of new products and modifying the masters as per pharmacy point of view
• Purchase of narcotic medications as per requirement
• Maintaining documentation of narcotic medicines as per ministry regulations
• Order and purchase fully and semi controlled medicines in accordance with requirements
• Maintain appropriate records for controlled medicines
• Supervise the handling of expiry medicines
• Supervise the handling of slow-moving medicines
• Monitor incoming drugs from stores
• Any other functions specified from time to time
• Dispense medicines as per doctor’s prescription and provide information to patients about medications and their use
