Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Intern to join the team. This role will be PRN every other weekend. Pharmacy Intern Job Responsibilities: Under the Pharmacist supervision: Performs all aspects of medication distribution. Manages medication inventory. Maintains Automated Dispensing Machine. Performs monthly pharmacy inspections per policies/procedures. Participates in patient care. Participates in department quality improvements projects. Developing skills and knowledge base necessary to practice as a pharmacist. Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School or GED and enrolled in Pharmacy School. Licensure: State of Virginia Pharmacy Technician license or a Pharmacy Intern license. Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
