Inova Loudoun Hospital Retail Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Intern to join the team. This role will be PRN various shifts (weekends & holidays & some weekdays). Pharmacy Intern Job Responsibilities: Under the Pharmacist supervision: * Performs all aspects of medication distribution. * Manages medication inventory. * Maintains Automated Dispensing Machine. * Performs monthly pharmacy inspections per policies/procedures. * Participates in patient care. * Participates in department quality improvements projects. * Developing skills and knowledge base necessary to practice as a pharmacist. Minimum Qualifications: * Education: High School or GED and enrolled in Pharmacy School. * Licensure: State of Virginia Pharmacy Technician license or a Pharmacy Intern license. * Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire. Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Intern performs medication distribution, manages inventory, and maintains automated dispensing machines under pharmacist supervision. They also participate in patient care and department quality improvement projects.
