We are a dedicated team that share our mission and our culture of safe and compassionate care.   How you’ll contribute  A pharmacy intern who excels in this role: * Learns and develops necessary skills in the institutional setting that are needed to appropriately provide professional knowledge and tasks related to the pharmacy department to assure that the patients of the hospital receive the ultimate quality and safety in drug therapy. * Learns how to interpret and evaluate all physician medication, IV admixture and TPN orders  * Learns the appropriate process used in dispensing controlled substances as required by local, state, and federal laws and the standards as it pertains to the standards of good pharmacy practice  * Learns how to appropriately compound and dispense medications from the pharmacy  * Gains experience in clinical activities performed by the department under the supervision of the clinical manager    Why join us  We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities
The pharmacy intern will learn and develop necessary skills to provide professional knowledge and tasks related to the pharmacy department. They will interpret and evaluate physician medication orders and gain experience in clinical activities under supervision.
