Description:
Position Summary
The Logistics Manager will oversee and coordinate the storage, transportation, and distribution of goods to ensure efficient operations and meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven track record in logistics or supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to optimize delivery performance.
- Analyze logistics data and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage a team of logistics staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, KPIs, and cost analysis to senior management.
- Address and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize costs while maintaining high service standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
