Our Values R – Respect I – Innovation S – Stewardship E – Excellence Pharmacy Manager and PIC Summary The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. In addition to leading and directing your Pharmacy Staff, comprised of both staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, you are accountable for the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. A Day in the Life ? Patient Safety - ensure safe and effective pharmacy services at the top of your teams and your pharmacy’s license. This includes, but is not limited to, filling prescriptions, counseling patients on their medication, MTM services, and vaccine administration. ? Regulatory Requirements – ensure all board of pharmacy, DEA, HRSA, 340B, and other regulatory obligations are met and practiced routinely by all employees of the pharmacy. ? Customer Service - ensure our customers receive the very best service and work directly with patients and staff to resolve all customer complaints in a timely manner ? Personnel Management- in order to run a safe and effective pharmacy, the pharmacy manager must hire, schedule, coach, develop, train, motivate and evaluate staff daily. ? Inventory Management - responsible for the safety and security of all pharmacy inventory and supplies at all times, including temperature control. Responsible for ordering, returning, and maintaining accurate and appropriate inventory levels. ? Financial Profitability– responsible for hitting key performance metrics in order to secure financial goals set forth by the Director of Pharmacy ? Engage - participate in PHS trainings and required provider meetings ? Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned. Requirements Supervisory Responsibilities Active Core Competencies ? Certificates, Licenses, Registrations ? Active Pharmacy License in the state of Ohio ? Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List ? Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)* ?
