Position Overview Department: Pharmacy Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5:00p Work Location: UAB St Vincent's Birmingham Benefits for eligible positions include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Manage the daily operations of pharmacy services. Develop and implement performance improvement activities to include medication safety, medication use evaluation and pharmacoeconomics. Conduct competency assessments and coordinate the training and development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students. Develop and manage departmental budget to promote pharmacoeconomics. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Also serve on various committees. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Currently licensed as a Licensed Pharmacist by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required. Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required. 3 years of experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.
