JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Designated Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients.
This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of medication administration, and a commitment to patient care in community pharmacy setting.
We have an extremely friendly team of pharmacists, assistants and physicians (clinic on site) and we invite you to join us. we close at 7pm on weekdays and 3pm on weekends (Sat+Sun).
Candidate is to do every second weekend in addition to every Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.

EXPERIENCE

  • A Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Previous 4 year experience in a Canadian community pharmacy setting is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and medical terminology is essential..
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including staff supervision, workflow optimization, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee medication administration processes and ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
  • Collaborate with physicians at our next door clinic to develop treatment plans that meet the needs of patients.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for pharmacy staff on filling prescriptions, adjudications, filling…etc.
  • Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and ordering medications as necessary.
  • Address patient inquiries regarding medications, side effects, and interactions to promote safe usage.
  • Conduct Med-Check for eligible patients. (no quota!)
