Communicare Pharmacy is a proudly independent community pharmacy located in Edmonton. For the past 8 years, we’ve been committed to delivering personalized, high-quality care to our patients. As we grow, we’re looking for a strong, experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations and guide our team.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Pharmacy degree from a recognized institution
• Knowledge of pharmacy equipment and regulatory standards
• Criminal background check (required upon hire)

• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, workflow, and staff management
• Ensure all prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and on time
• Provide professional counselling on medications, interactions, and side effects
• Monitor drug inventory, expiry dates, and supply levels
• Maintain and audit patient profiles, records, and third-party billing
• Supervise prescription processing, compounding, and medication dispensing
• Train, support, and motivate dispensary team members
• Ensure compliance with Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) regulations
• Address patient concerns and resolve any service-related issues
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers and long-term care teams
