REQUIREMENTS

  • GPhC registration (essential)
  • Proven experience in a pharmacy leadership or management role (online pharmacy experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations, stock management, and invoicing.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively, solve problems independently, and maintain high standards under pressure.
  • Comfortable working in a tech-driven, digital environment.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our online pharmacy. This role is key to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant running of our pharmacy service. You will be responsible for managing the pharmacy team, handling stock and invoicing, and maintaining the highest standards of customer care. You’ll also support the Superintendent Pharmacist in implementing policies, driving operational improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring timely and accurate prescription processing.
  • Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a collaborative, high-performing team.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, place orders with suppliers, and ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
  • Oversee and reconcile supplier invoices, track pharmacy expenses, and support financial reporting.
  • Support staff training and development, ensuring the team is well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their roles effectively and confidently.
  • Ensure compliance with GPhC, MHRA, and company SOPs, including accurate documentation and regulatory reporting.
  • Support service development, process improvement, and digital integration within the pharmacy.
