As the Pharmacy Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while delivering a patient-centric approach focused on the distribution, provisioning, and dispensing of complex drug therapies and specialty medications. This role blends clinical care with operational leadership and offers the opportunity to drive impact through quality service and pharmacy team development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Strong communication, customer service, and team collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to manage operations in a high-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Experience in continuing care pharmacy is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with Kroll software is an asset

Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, including assigning tasks, scheduling, performance evaluation, and supporting ongoing development
  • Oversee workflow, medication preparation, and dispensing—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Deliver clinical services including patient consultations and immunizations
  • Collaborate with pharmacy operations to support process improvements and implement new initiatives
  • Build relationships with prescribers and key stakeholders in the specialty medication space
  • Ensure compliance with College of Pharmacists and Health Canada guidelines
  • Maintain strict cold chain protocols for all biologic and specialty medications
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment
  • Manage inventory, over-the-counter products, expense control, and accounts receivable
  • Lead or support public health and patient education initiatives such as clinics or community programs
