Position Overview Department: Pharmacy Schedule: Various days of the week, including some weekends and various hours. Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Assure appropriate selection, dosing, administration and monitoring of medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Review, verify and enter physician orders into the patient medication profile. Manage medication therapy protocols as a part of physician-pharmacist-nurse team. Compound and dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas. Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Pharmacist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Enrolled OR graduate of an accredited Pharmacy degree program Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
