POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to lead our team at our Priceline Pharmacy store in Sydney. As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the store, delivering outstanding customer service, driving sales performance, and managing a team of dedicated pharmacy professionals. Your leadership will be key to ensuring that we maintain high standards in both customer experience and operational efficiency.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably within the pharmacy, health, or beauty sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, including stock management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for health and beauty, with a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • A commitment to professional development and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Pharmacy-related qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy) would be highly regarded but not essential.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of pharmacy professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve store goals.
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring products are stocked and displayed effectively and that stock levels are maintained according to demand.
  • Drive sales growth and profitability through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer-focused initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to team members, ensuring professional development and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety.
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains at the forefront of the store’s activities.
  • Monitor and manage store budgets, labor costs, and other financial aspects of the operation to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager and other stakeholders to implement corporate strategies and objectives.
