As an equal opportunity employer, we offer a team-oriented, collaborative work environment for close to 400 employees at eight different locations in Rutland and southern Addison counties.    POSITION SUMMARY: The Pharmacy Supervisor oversees daily operations of the pharmacy department, providing leadership to staff across all Community Health Pharmacy locations. This role ensures efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, and high standards of pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring pharmacy staff, supporting ongoing training, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence. The Pharmacy Supervisor collaborates with other departments to develop policies, manage vendors, and implement best practices, ensuring the department meets organizational goals and delivers outstanding service to patients and healthcare providers. Additionally, the Pharmacy Supervisor will be expected to perform Pharmacy Technician duties as needed, depending on operational needs. FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: * Supervise staff, including scheduling, training, performance management, and maintaining compliance to ensure high-quality service delivery * Coordinate daily workflow and operational processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services. * Assess and address pharmacy department building and facility needs, ensuring the environment remains safe, functional, and conducive to efficient operations.  * Oversee the ordering and replenishment of office / pharmacy supplies, equipment, and materials. Coordinating with facility vendors and ensuring all maintenance and repair activities are completed.  * In collaboration with the PIC, manages pharmaceutical inventory, ensuring accuracy, managing processes and managing recalls * Maintain regulatory compliance by ensuring all procedures adhere to state and federal laws, as well as organizational policies. * Promote and uphold high standards of pharmaceutical care, safety, and excellence within the department. * Collaborate with pharmacy managers, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless interdisciplinary cooperation. * Address and resolve operational challenges, implementing solutions to enhance patient satisfaction and optimize pharmacy performance. * Develop, review, and implement pharmacy policies in partnership with other departments and stakeholders. * Manage vendor relationships, supporting the procurement of products and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. * Liaison between PSAO's, third parties, regulating bodies, and 340B program managers * Facilitate the adoption of best practices in pharmacy operations and encourage continuous improvement initiatives. * Address patient complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, conducting investigations as needed and implementing corrective actions to ensure a positive patient experience and maintain trust in pharmacy services. * Monitor departmental performance, align activities with organizational mission and values, and consistently meet established goals. * Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new team members. * Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
