Description ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: Health Services Department: Drive thru Pharmacy SUPERVISOR: Pharmacy Coordinator FLSA: Non- Exempt SALARY RANGE: $17.00-$24.00 ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family. CPN Health Services personnel may be assigned to provide services to patients of all ages including but not limited to Indian Children and will require a criminal history background screening. JOB SUMMARY: Assists pharmacists in all functions of the pharmacy with the exception of counseling patients and receives daily supervision from pharmacists, ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Inputs prescriptions into computer. · Maintains patient profiles in computer. · Maintains list of drug orders and prices. · Counts and labels prescriptions when needed. · Communications with patients regarding their prescriptions. · Answers phone for pharmacy. · Stock drug orders. · Retrieves refill requests from phone or fax service. · Prepares drug returns when needed. · Maintain and update suspended and discharged patients via Clinic Directors’ monthly list. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: · Perform other duties and projects as required by management KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Ability to communicate well with patients, medical providers and other staff. · Ability to collect, organize, record and communicate in a meaningful way data relevant to pharmacy. · Ability to use computer programs for recording pharmaceutical data. · Ability to work independently. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION: · High School Diploma or GED. · Prior experience in a pharmacy preferred. · Current State of Oklahoma pharmacy technician permit. · RPMS and Computer Rx experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · The ability to be seated or standing for prolonged periods of time · The ability to perform repetitive work at the computer. · The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
