Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Under the direct supervision of pharmacy administration/staff pharmacist the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for filling medication orders, filling patient cassettes, filling and maintaining point-of-care automation, make deliveries and pick-ups to and from the patient care areas. Responsible for filling of all stock requisitions, unpacking and stocking daily orders, proper storage of all medications, pre-packing of medications, performing assigned floor inspections, keeping track of returned and expired medications, maintaining proper inventory records, following appropriate waste management, IV admixture batching and preparation. Required Experience: Hospital/Retail experience or RUMC Pharmacy internship or externship preferred and/or completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) program preferred. Education requirements: High School Diploma required Pharmacy Intern permit preferred. Pharmacy Technician Certification required. Computer equipment skills: Basic mathematical & computer knowledge is required. Successful completion of all orientations and competencies.
