Description

The Pharmacy Technician 1, under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, assists with compounds and dispensing medical prescriptions and may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. The position is expected to receive and store incoming supplies, verify stock and enter data into the computer to maintain inventory records, and is expected to meet state certifications. The position requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Pharmacy and relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

Assists a registered pharmacist with compounding and dispensing medical prescriptions while performing related clerical duties. Manages inventory by receiving supplies, verifying stock, and entering data into the computer system.
