Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services a part of The Cigna Group is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Accredo Specialty Pharmacy is looking for high-energy, positive individuals to join our pharmacy technician team. Members of this team are tasked with ensuring prescriptions are processed and shipped appropriately so they can arrive in the hands of the 100 million patients whose health depends on their delivery. Shift available: Onsite, Monday - Friday 10:30am - 7:00pm* 2nd shift **This position may be eligible for a shift differential for a portion of the shift ** How you’ll make a difference: Be a superstar in the eyes of your team and the patient. Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare the labels that correspond. Use your expert problem solving skills to help our patients be at their best every day. Work with a skilled team to ensure patients get the medication they need in a timely manner. Work together to achieve success. Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure that medications are adequately filled and support the pharmacy's quality goals. Task oriented to create, innovate and inspire. Delivers straight forward administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy. Think strategically by staying connected. Works to clearly define procedures under close supervision. Being a Team Player. Besides verifying, printing prescriptions and doing routine duties, techs pick up the medication and help on the packing line. What you should have: High School Diploma / GED required Arizona Pharmacy Technician license required; Certification preferred. 1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred. Basic math skills and General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality. Physical Requirements: Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods. Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms. Work may be in confined areas close to machinery. Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise. Why join us?
