POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a key role in helping our pharmacy run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure prescriptions are accurately filled.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum two years previous experience in a busy pharmacy
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

• Accurately and efficiently prepare and dispense prescription medications
• Assist pharmacists in verifying prescription information and dosage
• Manage inventory, stock shelves, and order medication supplies
• Handle customer inquiries in person and over the phone
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
• Process insurance claims and handle payment transactions
• Support the team in keeping the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant
