JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medication to patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong understanding of medication administration and patient care principles.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with patients and staff.
• A commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient information, and medication inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
• Assist in the management of stock levels, including ordering and receiving pharmaceuticals.
• Prepare medication for administration, including compounding where necessary.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
