JOB OVERVIEW

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage.
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient information, and medication inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
  • Assist in the management of stock levels, including ordering and receiving pharmaceuticals.
  • Prepare medication for administration, including compounding where necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
