What you will do: The position is responsible for dispensing medications to and collecting co-pays from patients of the health center. This position also collaborates with health center management to create system-wide policies and procedures for operating the programs, and then work with health center staff to operate these programs. Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program is required (will take experience into consideration). Pharmacy Technician certification required. Previous pharmacy experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Ability to work effectively with all levels of care team and other colleagues. Ability to interpret and apply guidelines and procedures. Ability to use good reasoning and judgment. Proficiency in basic computer skills. Demonstrate good listening, customer service skills and attention to detail.
