At DeliverCareRx you will work in a state-of-the-art centralized call center and fulfillment operation at either the company’s corporate headquarters or one of our regional pharmacies. Currently, DeliverCareRx is searching for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to work at our pharmacies located in Tampa, Florida and Mount Prospect, Illinois. This role is responsible for assisting in processing, dispensing, and shipping of prescription medications to hospice patients. Key Responsibilities This position is ideal for those who love working in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail. Key elements of the role can include: * Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate information * Provide daily support to pharmacists * Resolve customer issues, ensure accurate information is provided * Process refill and new prescriptions in a timely manner * Manage outbound/inbound faxes to physicians * Focus on quality assurance to correctly input physician orders and to prevent medication errors * Provide high quality customer service to patients and caregivers over the phone * Utilize sound judgment to make appropriate decisions in the best interest of patients and the company * Restock and organize workstations to maintain a clean work environment * Assist with inventory management functions including, but not limited to cycle counts, inventory, receiving and put away * Package and ship orders * Count and fill medication orders with 100% accuracy * Compound medications that are not commercially available * Prepare medications with special packaging requirements like bubble packing, pre-filled syringes * Complete other duties as assigned   Required Skills and Abilities * Outstanding ethical personal character with commitment to compliance and integrity * Analytical and operational process skills * Judgment/decision-making capability * Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize duties * Highly organized and efficient in a fast paced and growing environment * Superior customer service and relationship skills * Self-motivated and energetic team player with a positive attitude * Working knowledge of computer technology for prescription management * High degree of accuracy in data entry and/or fulfillment while meeting volume targets * Maintain a positive, open and objective attitude towards others and learning new skills * Accountability and openness to feedback   Education and Experience Requirements * High school diploma or GED certificate * Current State Board of Pharmacy Technician license * Successful completion of a pharmacy technician training course or a minimum of one year of on-the-job training preferred * Technician certification preferred (PTCB or ExCPT accepted)     Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Workplace DeliverCareRx is a drug-free workplace that conducts pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing.
