Pharmacy Technician I – Night Shift Bring your passion to THR so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health HEB 1600 Hospital Parkway TX 76022 Work hours: Full time (40hours) Night shift: 7 on 7 off – 8:00PM to 6:30AM. Pharmacy Department highlights: · Team based environment · Workplace culture 2nd to none · Great benefits/ 401k / PTO · We operate on lean principles and rely heavily on a team atmosphere and individual performance · Highly engaged Pharmacy management Education · High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience · 1 year pharmacy tech experience in healthcare setting preferred Licenses and Certifications · RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required And Other IV Certification Preferred What You Will Do · Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location. · Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives. · Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time. · Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel. · Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies. · Other duties as assigned.
