Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Pharmacy classes in our Pharmacy Technician Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Pharmacy Technician courses. The typical teaching load is 2 courses each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. Qualifications * Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program resulting in a Diploma or Certificate of Completion; associate degree preferred * Certification: * PTCB and/or * CPhT * At least three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Highly organized, motivated and results driven * Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
