About the role

Ace Bargina Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Intern Pharmacist (2027) to join our team in Baringa, QLD.

This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills. We will be introducing new health programmes and your experience and enthusiasm will be critical to our success.

Whether you are an experienced pharmacy technician looking to advance your career or a 4th pharmacy student looking for an intern position, this role will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in a professional healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Working alongside our pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmaceutical standards
  • Conducting over-the-counter consultations and providing advice on non-prescription medications and health products
  • Maintaining pharmacy stock, managing inventory and ensuring medications are stored correctly
  • Performing administrative tasks including data entry, scheduling and patient communication
  • Supporting patient education by providing clear information about medication usage and potential side effects
  • Adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations and professional standards governing pharmacy practice
  • Contributing to a welcoming and professional customer service experience for all pharmacy visitors
  • Assisting with general pharmacy housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organised working environment
