Maintains proficiency in hazardous and sterile compounding, controlled substance management, inventory integrity, and regulatory compliance. Leads initiatives in medication safety, quality assurance, and operational optimization, while mentoring staff and supporting training programs. Collaborates with pharmacists, clinical teams, and leadership to advance departmental goals and contributes to practice improvement, governance, and professional development efforts. Maintains national pharmacy certification. The value you’ll bring to the team: Leads enterprise-level inventory operations, including procurement processes, formulary alignment, and perpetual inventory accuracy. Oversees controlled substance programs, diversion prevention efforts, and compliance with DEA and institutional policies. conducts advanced audits and operations reviews to advise on inventory integrity analytics, cost containment strategies, medication shortage mitigation, and supply chain resilience. Leads system-wide medication safety initiatives, including risk mitigation, error prevention, and safety education. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Required: High School Grad or Equivalent 2+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in the applicable jurisdiction OR• Sterile Compounding & Aseptic Technique-IV Cert Course (SCAT) if applicable per state legislation Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), the Institute for the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or from the National Health career Association (NHA)
