POSITION SUMMARY

The University of Providence is seeking qualified Pharmacy Technician Lab Instructors to join our team in Richland, Washington. Successful candidates will possess a strong foundation in pharmacy technician principles and practices and be dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences to our students.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with a minimum of 3 years of experience (per ASHP/ACPE).
  • Appropriate state licensure or registration (if applicable).
  • Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy math calculations, infection control, non-sterile compounding, and sterile compounding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and informative laboratory sessions on topics such as pharmacy math calculations, infection control, non-sterile compounding, and sterile compounding.
  • Set up and prepare the laboratory environment for each session.
  • Guide students through hands-on exercises and provide individualized instruction.
  • Assess student learning and submit grades in Moodle.
  • Clean up the laboratory space following each session.
  • Collaborate with the University of Providence to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.
