How you’ll contribute A Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role: * Fills orders with correct medications. * Delivers medications to patient care areas and automated dispensing machines accurately and timely. * Procures pharmaceutical and related supplies per contractual terms. * Maintains appropriate pharmacy inventory levels * Prepares pharmaceutical preparations including unit-dosing medication and properly labeling any dispensed medications. * Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to patient, computes charges, and enters data in computer. * Maintains temperature and environmental monitoring logs appropriately. * Restocks shelves and rotates stock. * Properly disposes of non-recyclable items. * Receives and stores incoming supplies. * Counts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. * Returns medications to stock and rotates stock. * Maintains clean and sanitary pharmacy department. * Collaborates with Director of Pharmacy to ensure department needs are met and departmental goals are achieved. * Maintains security of the pharmacy. Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for accurately filling and delivering medication orders while maintaining pharmacy inventory and sanitation standards. They also process medication records, manage controlled substances, and collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy to achieve departmental goals.
