Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.   How you’ll contribute  A Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role: * Fills orders with correct medications. * Delivers medications to patient care areas and automated dispensing machines accurately and timely. * Procures pharmaceutical and related supplies per contractual terms. * Maintains appropriate pharmacy inventory levels * Prepares pharmaceutical preparations including unit-dosing medication and properly labeling any dispensed medications. * Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to patient, computes charges, and enters data in computer. * Maintains temperature and environmental monitoring logs appropriately. * Restocks shelves and rotates stock. * Properly disposes of non-recyclable items. * Receives and stores incoming supplies. * Counts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. * Returns medications to stock and rotates stock. * Maintains clean and sanitary pharmacy department. * Collaborates with Director of Pharmacy to ensure department needs are met and departmental goals are achieved. * Maintains security of the pharmacy. Responsibilities
