Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will: Assist with filling prescriptions and preparing medications for distribution to patients. Check for and remove outdated medications from inventory. Deliver medications to medication rooms, ensuring safety and security throughout the process. Operate unit-dose packaging systems and maintain accurate records of controlled substances. Prepare floor stock and controlled substances per requests and assist with annual inventory. Inspect medication rooms for proper labeling, storage, and sanitary conditions. Maintain prescription files, prepare medications for discharge, and perform related clerical duties. Serve as a liaison between pharmacy staff, vendors, and support teams to resolve issues. Help maintain a clean and sanitary pharmacy environment. Requirements Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age; have high school diploma or equivalent; no misdemeanor or felony convictions of any non-alcohol, drug related crimes AND registered by a state or national certifying body approved by the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Other: Incumbents must maintain certification as a Pharmacy Technician. Salary: Starting Pay Range $17.703-$26.097 / Plus an additional $3.00/hour facility differential pay for hours worked. The pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints if approved.
