Mullanys Ballyragget Pharmacy is a community-focused pharmacy delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmaceutical care in a friendly and professional environment.

Role Description

Pharmacy Technician - Maternity Cover. 10 month contract, on-site position based in Ballyragget.

4 day week or 4 day/5 day rotation.

1 in 3 Saturdays.

No Sundays and no bank holidays.

Day-to-day responsibilities include processing and dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist, preparing medication orders, and ensuring accurate patient records. The role also involves managing stock levels, supporting inventory control, claim management and assisting with customer service at the pharmacy counter.

Qualifications

• Relevant pharmacy technician qualification required
• Previous experiecne working as a Pharmacy Technician within an Irish pharmacy environment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and best practices in a community pharmacy setting.
• Skills in inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and monitoring expiry dates.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with a diverse customer base.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to confidentiality and data protection requirements.
• Ability to manage time effectively, and contribute positively to a team-oriented workplace.
