Camden and Islington are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic technician who wants to work closely with a Pharmacist to carry out general dispensing, distribution and manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS JOB ROLE

· Provide straightforward advice to patients/carers on pharmaceutical products and further supplies
· Supervises, trains and supports pharmacy support workers, pre-registration pharmacy technicians, pre-registration pharmacy technicians and other technicians.
· To participate in the dispensing of prescriptions for in-patients and out-patients and in associated pharmaceutical duties, including clinical trials and to carry out final checks in accordance with the department’s accreditation scheme (once accredited by the Trust approved external scheme). To participate in all other dispensary activities as designated by the Pharmacy technician team manager patient services or their deputy

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN APPLYING FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

· GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician
· NHS Experience desirable
