Job Title: Full-Time Pharmacy Technician (Non-Customer Contact) Location: GoGoMeds – 525 Alexandria Pike - Southgate, KY 41071 Department: Pharmacy Operations Reports To: Department Pharmacy Manager   Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This role focuses on non-customer contact tasks, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of medications and supporting the pharmacy's operational needs.   Key Responsibilities: * Medication Preparation: * Accurately prepare and package prescription medications for dispensing. * Perform quality checks on prepared medications to ensure accuracy and compliance with prescriptions.   * Documentation and Record-Keeping: * Accurately document all medication preparation and inventory activities. * Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies related to record-keeping and documentation. * Prepare and maintain reports as required by the pharmacy manager.   * Compliance and Safety: * Follow all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to medication handling and compounding. * Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment. * Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with pharmacy practices and regulations.   * Collaboration and Support: * Work closely with pharmacists and other team members to support the efficient operation of the pharmacy. * Provide support for special projects and initiatives as directed by the pharmacy manager. * Assist in the training and mentoring of new pharmacy technicians. Qualifications: * Education: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Certification: * KY Pharmacy Technician Certificate – can be obtained upon hire * Experience: * Previous experience as a pharmacy technician desired but not required * Skills: * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand for extended periods. * Ability to lift and carry moderate weight (up to 20 pounds). * Manual dexterity to handle and package medications. Work Schedule: * Full-time position Monday through Friday * 10:00 am - 6:30 pm; 10:30 am - 7:00 pm depending on business needs. * NO nights, weekends or holidays. (((Overtime may be available during the week or on Saturdays as business dictates.)))
