Description Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing The Long Beach VA Healthcare System with Health Technicians. The Health Technician is expected to do the following: Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including outpatient prescription production. Perform consultation duties, monitor for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug events. Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspections and expiration checks. Perform supply management duties including ordering, stocking, and inventory maintenance. Operate within a team to provide patient care Requirements Degree/Education: Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), OR certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), OR successful completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program (i.e., a technical, hospital, or retail-based program). A minimum of 12 months of full-time experience within the last 36 months as a pharmacy technician. Valid BLS A current, valid state license as a physical therapy assistant in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
