Position Overview Department: Pharmacy Schedule: PRN (as needed) Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Chilton Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification. Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. 2. Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the Pharmacy department. Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounds. Repackages bulk medications. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Triages incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Currently registered as a pharmacy technician by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required. Active registration will be required prior to date of hire. Education: High School diploma equivalency required. Additional Preferences No additional preferences. Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist. Responsibilities include refilling automated dispensing systems, preparing orders, maintaining inventory, and triaging incoming calls.
