Pharmacy Technician at Providence Home Services Oregon in Portland, Oregon Full Time / Day Shift Performs all typical duties of a retail. mail order, specialty pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures. Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision. Communicate with and service the needs of the Pharmacy clientele. Has advanced knowledge and skills in one or more specialty areas in the pharmacy. Required qualifications: Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License Or Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Upon hire: In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties. 1 year of experience (2080 hours) of pharmacy practice 1 year of Customer Service 1 year for internal promotion candidate must be competent in all responsibilities of an Associate Pharmacy Technician: (external candidates are required to have the equivalent experience) Preferred qualifications: Coursework/Training and Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
