The Pharmacy Technician role supports safe, accurate, and timely medication distribution within a hospital setting. You’ll work closely with licensed pharmacists, nursing teams, and materials management to ensure patients receive the medications they need without delay. What You’ll Do * Prepare and label patient-specific medication orders under pharmacist supervision. * Deliver medications to medication rooms, nursing units, and automated dispensing cabinets. * Review anticipated admissions and medication administration records (MAR) to plan restocking and delivery needs. * Restock and organize returned medications and IVs according to department procedures. * Replenish automated dispensing machines and document all activities per policy. * Monitor inventory, communicate stock needs, and assist with ordering medications and supplies. * Support medication-use safety and compliance through accurate documentation and adherence to controlled substance procedures. * Collaborate with pharmacists and nursing staff to ensure medication availability and timely patient care. * Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.   What You Bring * Education: High school diploma or GED. * Registration: Active registration with the State Board of Pharmacy (as required by state regulations). * Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) if required by state regulations. * Strong accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Familiarity with automated dispensing systems and inventory workflows * Dependable communication and teamwork * Basic computer proficiency   Why join us * We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
