LEVEL II NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT) TECHNICIAN

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Certerra has excellent full-time opportunities available in our Albuquerque, NM office for experienced Nondestructive Testing (NDT) professionals. We are seeking Level II certified individuals in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Working knowledge of API 650, API 1104, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME Sec. VIII.
  • Familiarity with In-Line Inspection (ILI), FlexoFORM, HydroFORM, and/or Creaform technologies.
  • Prior experience in commercial and/or industrial construction inspection industries.
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential is a plus, but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current Level II certifications in PAUT, MT, and PT.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Clean motor vehicle record.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
  • Perform NDT inspections using PAUT, MT, and PT in accordance with industry codes and client specifications.
  • Utilize automated, semi-automated encoders, and manual scanning techniques to complete inspections.
  • Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely inspection reports.
  • Provide documented on-the-job training (OJT) and maintain certifications as required.
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues regarding inspection findings and project status.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including pre-employment and ongoing compliance requirements.
