We are offering a PhD fellowship in Understanding Brain Cell Function in Obesity commencing January 1st, 2026, or after agreement.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student to join a research project focused on understanding how specific brain cell populations contribute to obesity and related metabolic diseases. The project will involve the analysis of large-scale single-cell datasets and aims to map how different cell types respond to metabolic and genetic changes. The successful candidate will contribute to developing molecular insights and resources that support the broader research community in identifying relevant cell populations and mechanisms involved in metabolic regulation. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of neuroscience, metabolism, and data science in a collaborative and supportive research environment.
Principal supervisor is Associate professor Tune H Pers, email: tune.pers@sund.ku.dk.
