Key Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Tourism, focusing on innovative and technology-driven aspects of the industry. Engage in research activities that lead to high-quality publications in internationally recognized journals, particularly those indexed in Scopus. Supervise graduate research projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations. Develop and enhance tourism curricula, incorporating smart technologies and industry trends. Participate in academic accreditation processes, ensuring alignment with the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation and international standards. Perform administrative duties as assigned by the department, college, and university. Actively contribute to community service initiatives, including industry engagement, organizing academic events, and providing consultancy services. Advise and mentor students, guiding them in their academic and professional development. Required Qualifications and Competencies: PhD in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field from a recognized university. At least five years of effective teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels in tourism or related areas. A strong research record with publications in internationally ranked, peer-reviewed journals with a solid impact factor or indexed in Scopus. Experience supervising graduation projects, as well as master’s and doctoral theses/dissertations. Proven ability to establish partnerships with industry and community stakeholders to enhance academic and research collaboration. A track record of service to the university and the wider academic community. Preference for candidates with experience in online/e-learning environments and digital pedagogical methods. Ability to integrate computer technology effectively into tourism education and research.
