The project “Dizziness Assessment and Rapid Evaluation”, led by Prof. Dr Georgios Mantokoudis (University Hospital of Bern) invites applications for PhD positions.
The position is limited to 48 months (project duration).
This PhD position is part of an innovative research project aimed at improving stroke detection in patients with dizziness using Video-Oculography (VOG)-assisted diagnostics. The goal is to apply and validate a triage tool that allows non-experts, such as emergency department (ED) physicians, to increase diagnostic accuracy for vestibular disorders and strokes. This study is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
The position is for four years, with an intended start date of 01.06.2025, or as agree.
