Responsibilities

The PhD project will focus on Energy Sector Coupling, a key component of the energy transition. In collaboration with an industrial partner — a major energy player in Luxembourg — you will contribute to the enhancement and implementation of a digital model representing the Luxembourgish and cross-border energy landscape.
The doctoral student will be a member of the Doctoral School for Science and Engineering in the doctoral programme in Engineering Sciences aiming to provide interdisciplinary and internationally competitive research training.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in the field of the Energy Sector Coupling as described above
  • Collaborate with external industrial and academic partners
  • Disseminate research findings through publications and conference presentations
  • Contribute to teaching activities (1-2 course hours per week or equivalent through student supervision)
